The Chef’s Kitchen Restaurant operated by Chef Matt Costello is the heart of The Inn at Langley. This Whidbey Island restaurant overlooks a formal herb garden and comes complete with a double-sided river rock fireplace and an open display kitchen.
Chef and General Manager Matt Costello has been in the restaurant business in Seattle for 15 years and has been named “Best Chef in Seattle” by Seattle Magazine in 1998, and under Costello’s direction, the Dahlia Lounge was named “Best Restaurant in the City” by Seattle Weekly in 2001.
Chef Costello prepares an elaborate six-course dinner in the Chef’s Kitchen Restaurant at The Inn at Langley every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night year round and on Thursday night during the summer months. The restaurant features Whidbey Island’s freshest seasonal ingredients and an amazing selection of wines from the Inn’s extensive cellar.
