Day ONe
Meet in Seattle. Head to the remote Olympic Peninsula for a hike in the old-growth rainforest near Lake Quinault. Be awed by the gigantic, record-breaking trees. Stay at beautiful Lake Quinault Lodge.

Day Two
Head to the Pacific Coast today. En route, visit a western red cedar so large several people can fit inside its hollow bole. Explore the tide pools of Brown’s Point; watch the sunset at Ruby Beach.
Day Three
Hike the most famous rainforest in Olympic National Park: the Hoh. Watch for elk and deer. Head to LaPush (of ‘Twilight’ fame). Stay oceanside again tonight.

Day Four
Hike from Rialto Beach to Hole in the Wall. Explore fantastical tide pools. This afternoon: relax by the beach at the resort, or explore more of the fabulous beaches along this wild coast.
Day FIVE
Visit Sol Duc Hot Springs. Hike to the falls. Continue hiking up to Deer Lake, or head back to the hot springs to soak: your choice.

Day Six
Hike Hurricane Ridge: alpine meadows, furry marmots, and sweeping views of the Straits of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. Head back to Seattle via a sunset ferry ride.
