Matt Bentley

Matt brings a lifelong love of the outdoors and storytelling to his role as a Seattle Basecamp Manager at Evergreen Escapes. Originally from Arizona and raised in Washington, he has spent much of his life exploring the American West by trail, highway, and backroad. An avid camper and road-tripper, Matt is drawn to the mountains, forests, deserts, and coastlines of the West and the stories that make those landscapes so amazing. He has also been a musician for more than 25 years, writing, recording, and performing with numerous Seattle-area bands, including ESITU and Devils Hunt Me Down. He is a writer, painter, and photographer with a deep interest in literature, history, and art. And he is happiest when creativity, nature, and adventure are involved.
