Seattle & Portland Tour Operations: Changes due to Coronavirus

Evergreen Escapes is open for tours!

While a few things look different, our goal remains the same: travel to outstanding destinations around the Pacific Northwest, take in the fresh air, and connect to each other and our natural environment.

Right now, here is what you should know about COVID-era travel for Evergreen Escapes:

• All travel is arranged on a custom basis – please give us a call! 206-650-5795
• We are limiting the number of households and guests on each tour.
• 3 unique households or a total of 6 guests per vehicle (whichever number we reach first)
• We also require a guest minimum of 2 guests per tour.
• If you are traveling solo, ask us about opportunities to travel with a limited number of other solo travelers or
   arrange a private tour.
• If you’re not sure about extended time in a shared vehicle – let’s talk about it! We are excited to work with
guests on unique itineraries such as meeting directly at a trailhead.
• We have included heightened safety measures for all tours such as the use of masks, gloves, and continuous       sanitation of high-touch points.

Please feel encouraged to connect with us via email at bookings@evergreenescapes.com or by calling our team. We apologize in advance if your call goes to voicemail – if that occurs, please leave us a message. A very small staff mean we might miss your attempt, but we’ll respond quickly to your message.

We are accepting tour bookings for July 1st, 2020, and beyond. We’ll continue to monitor changes to government policy, travel restrictions, health & safety recommendations, and more to ensure that we resume normal operations when it is appropriate to do so.

If you currently have a tour booked with Evergreen Escapes, don’t worry, you have options. As always, we’re here to help you. If you booked your tour directly with Evergreen Escapes over the phone or via our website, please see the options below. If you booked your tour through another party, like TripAdvisor, AirBNB, Expedia, a travel agent, etc. – you’ll need to contact that seller and follow their policy for changes, cancellations, and refund requests.

Change Your Travel Date

A simple change of date – we’re happy to move your booking to a date later in the year (or next year).

Please contact our team via email to request the change. Requests made after your current tour date has passed cannot be accepted – please make changes well in advance of your currently booked tour date.

Book a Private Tour

We understand that some travelers still want to, well – travel! If you’re still looking to get outside and play, we can likely offer you a private small-group tour.

Let us know a bit about your group, your travel dates, and your travel plans and we’ll respond with a few safe private tour options.

Cancel Your Tour

If you booked directly with Evergreen Escapes (not via a third party like TripAdvisor, Expedia, etc.), we can refund the cost of your tour. Please contact us well in advance of your tour.

If you booked your tour via a third party, cancellations are still an option – you’ll just need to process your change through that party.

We’re Accepting New Bookings

If you’re planning to travel later in 2020 (or 2021) – we’re offering 20% off on any of our small-group day tours or private day tours.

To receive 20% off, book your set-departure day tour through our website with the code EVERGREEN20. If you’re interested in traveling privately, please call our team.

Thank you for your love & continued support!

The decision to suspend normal tour operations, after nearly 15 years of continuously serving travelers in the Pacific Northwest, is not a decision our team makes easily. Like you, we’ve been following international developments, watching world markets and governments, and nervously eyeing our newsfeeds. To protect our tour guides and travelers, the decision to temporarily suspend tour operations seems like the right path until the global coronavirus situation is better understood. Local tourism & hospitality businesses are facing an extremely difficult time – Evergreen Escapes can’t thank you enough for your love and continued support.

Please take care of yourselves and one another,
The Evergreen Escapes Team
