Sarah Heczko

Sarah's summers as a youth were spent in the North Woods in Upper Michigan exploring the beauty of the forest, enjoying the freezing temperatures of Lakes Superior and Michigan and staring at the river for hours, wondering if her parents would notice if she jumped into the river and "floated" down the falls.  After a detour to study and work in psychology, Sarah's love of nature won and she worked on sailing yachts for 10 years in Europe. This landed her in Mallorca where she got into hiking and cycling tours, telling the exciting history of Mallorca as well as the flora and fauna of the beautiful island.  Sarah is an enthusiastic guide who loves to share her knowledge of the forest and sea, so everyone can enjoy and appreciate the outdoors. In her free time, you'll find Sarah sailing, exploring new hikes in PNW, bicycling up mountains and writing about her adventures.
