Willamette Valley Wine & Waterfalls Tour Details
⭐ Complimentary pick-up and drop-off at your downtown accommodations (hotel, AirBNB, rental, etc.).
⭐ A local, TripAdvisor 'Hall of Fame' naturalist guide. We guarantee you'll love your trip leader!
⭐ No additional charges during your day. We cover everything you'll need during our tours (meals, drinks, entrance fees, permits, wine tasting fees, fuel, etc.).
⭐ A morning snack. We generally bring French-pressed coffee, tea, and bakery!
⭐ A local winery lunch. In most cases, lunch is served at Left Coast Cellars, and includes a green salad and your choice of panini (weekdays) or a variety of wood-fired pizzas (weekends). Let us know if you have dietary restrictions - we can accommodate most needs if we're aware of them prior to 24 hours of your tour start.
⭐ Plenty of readily-available snacks, water, sparkling water, and more throughout the day.
⭐ Comfortable transportation in brand new Ford Transit vans or Mercedes Sprinter vans. Most of our vehicles are built for 15 people - we only open ten seats per trip to leave plenty of space.
⭐ Afternoon sweets, but not until the end of the day so as not to disturb your wine palate!
8:00a - Downtown pick-ups begin.
8:30a - Downtown pick-ups end.
9:30a – Arrive at Silver Falls State Park and make stops at two of the area’s most scenic waterfalls. With a walk of about 10 minutes, going down 75 stone steps, you’ll have the opportunity to view the waterfalls from the erosion-carved rock amphitheater behind the curtain of falling water. We'll stop to press coffee, make tea, and have a light snack, usually at the second of these waterfall stops around 11:00 am.
10:30a - You might start with a nice lower-elevation walk to get your legs moving after the commute. Down low there are big trees, gorgeous rivers, springs, waterfalls, and more! Your walk might be one to three miles.
12:30p - Arrive at the first of three winery visits that will carry you through the Willamette Valley wine country towards Portland. If the weather is good, enjoy lunch outdoors, provided by the team at Left Coast Cellars. In most cases, we’ll visit a winery in the Dundee Hills and another near the foot of the Chehalem Mountains.
6:30p - Approximate arrival back in downtown Portland.
Downtown Portland Pick-ups:

If you’re staying outside of downtown, our default downtown pick-up location is at the Hotel Monaco (506 SW Washington St.).
We're happy to offer a pickup option en-route to wine country upon request. If you are staying in the Beaverton/Washington Square/Wilsonville areas you may find it advantageous to meet us at the Courtyard by Marriott Portland Tigard (15686 SW Sequoia Pkwy).
